NOVA AVA is backed by NOVA BUILDING IT – and behind it are two people with a clear vision.

What drives us

The company was founded in 2014 by us, Felix Grau and Sven Walter. Our firm intention: to shake up the hitherto solid but sedate structure of the construction software industry. After all, the needs of the construction industry have clearly changed: Construction software must become more productive, more independent in terms of location and time, more mobile – and, above all, simpler: no one wants to go through weeks of training just to be able to use new software.

At NOVA BUILDING IT, we have set ourselves no other goal than to fulfill these needs with the utmost determination. And this determination is probably the secret of our success.

Who we are here for

Our business idea is actually quite simple:
NOVA BUILDING IT GmbH develops genuine innovations that really help our target group. With state-of-the-art technology, the right dose of vision, fresh interface designs and the best user experience, our construction cost software NOVA AVA is explicitly aimed at digital natives as well as the digitally young at heart among architects, civil engineers and project managers.

What we realize

With NOVA AVA, construction cost management – especially BIM 3D model-oriented construction cost management – has arrived on the web for the first time as a purely online service (SaaS). All you need is an internet connection and an internet-enabled end device; the operating system and choice of browser no longer play a role. Plus extremely user-friendly operation – that’s NOVA AVA.

This means that the advantages of cloud computing, which other industries have long been using for themselves, are now also available to the construction industry. And especially in times of increasingly complex construction projects, the importance of location-independent and mobile data collection with real-time communication and integrated control options is increasing, as this simplifies processes, increases productivity and conserves resources.

Who supports us

A growing network has formed around the NOVA team, with experts from the fields of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and GAEB (Joint Committee for Electronics in Construction). In addition, there are BSI-certified specialists (Federal Office for Information Security) who guarantee compliance with the required data protection guidelines and security precautions of modern web applications.

These open structures ensure that top specialists from sub-disciplines are always involved in the further development of the NOVA AVA platform alongside the inquisitive, innovative and experienced permanent employees.
