NOVA AVA in research and teaching

The Technical University of Berlin uses NOVA AVA in its Institute of Architecture for teaching purposes.

Biberach University of Applied Sciences uses NOVA AVA in the BIM lab for its bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in project management.

NOVA AVA is used at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, Minden Campus, in the Department of Architecture for the course series “Digital Media and Content in the Planning and Construction Process.”

Bochum University of Applied Sciences uses NOVA AVA in the Department of Architecture. The 8-semester bachelor’s program trains architects who are eligible for professional registration upon graduation. In addition to traditional design and structural engineering courses, the curriculum also emphasizes subjects related to future project implementation, such as bidding, contracting, and project supervision. The goal is to provide students with as broad a foundation as possible.

Ruhr University Bochum uses NOVA AVA in the Department of Computing in Engineering. In particular, the BIM functionality is used in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering .

NOVA AVA is used at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in the Institute for Building Operations.

NOVA AVA is used at TU Dortmund University, in the Department of Real Estate Development, as part of the seminar “Dimensions of Building Information Modeling” for cost and quantity takeoff as well as for the preparation of Bill of Quantities.

Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences (HSD) uses NOVA AVA at the Peter Behrens School of Arts (PBSA) in its bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in architecture.

NOVA AVA is used at the Erfurt University of Applied Sciences in the Department of Building Design and Construction Planning within the School of Architecture.

The HTBLA Hallstatt uses NOVA AVA in construction-related courses to teach practical skills such as preparing Bill of Quantities, estimating quantities, issuing requests for proposals, and awarding contracts.

Hafencity University uses NOVA AVA in its teaching to provide students with knowledge in the field of BIM-compliant design. The software is primarily used and applied in the “BIM Implementation” course.

NOVA AVA is used in the School of Engineering and Architecture for the bachelor’s degree programs in Real Estate and Facility Management and Architecture .

The Technical University of Kaiserslautern uses NOVA AVA in the Department of Construction Management and Economics for research and teaching purposes. To this end, NOVA AVA is used in the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Facility Management within the BIM-LAB RLP.

NOVA AVA is used at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences in the field of digital processes in architecture and construction management. Here, the quantities from the BIM model are transferred to AVA via IFC to create a bid request.

NOVA will be used at Landshut University of Applied Sciences as part of construction management exercises. The software will support the entire construction process in a teaching environment.

NOVA AVA is used in the Department of Architecture and Social Sciences for courses in computer-aided design and architectural animation.

NOVA AVA is used at Mainz University of Applied Sciences in the Department of Design for the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in interior design.

At the School of Civil Engineering at Munich University of Applied Sciences, NOVA AVA is used in both the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.

The Technical University of Munich uses NOVA AVA in the Department of Computer-Aided Modeling and Simulation and in the Department of Architectural Informatics. In particular, the BIM functionality is used in the master’s programs in civil engineering and architecture as part of the interdisciplinary course “Building Information Modeling.”

Jade University of Applied Sciences in Oldenburg uses NOVA AVA in its architecture program.

In the departments of architecture and civil engineering, OTH Regensburg plans to test the BIM applications of NOVA AVA. Bill of Quantities, costs, and schedules are derived from a 3D model.

The Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering at htw saar uses NOVA AVA in the Department of Architecture as part of the master’s program in BIM Technologies to optimize the transfer of information and geometry between CAD applications.

At its Kuchl campus, the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences focuses particularly on the topic of sustainable construction. When it comes to resource-efficient construction, the capabilities of BIM are becoming increasingly important. NOVA AVA BIM is used here in the master’s program in Wood Technology & Wood Industry.

NOVA AVA is used at Trier University of Applied Sciences, in the Department of Construction and Living, as part of the course “Computer Applications in Construction Management.”

The BIM Institute at the University of Wuppertal uses NOVA AVA in its teaching for students of architecture and civil engineering, as well as in the part-time master’s programs in CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT // Management | Processes | Technology and Sustainable and Resource-Efficient Construction (sustainable construction | urban mining).

The Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences uses NOVA AVA in the Department of Civil Engineering (module: Construction Informatics) and in the Master’s program in Integrated Planning and Construction (module: Construction Process Management, to consistently generate various types of cost estimates and Bills of Quantities using Building Information Modeling (BIM).

The Europa Vocational School in Weiden uses NOVA AVA in its vocational training program for architectural drafters.

Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences uses NOVA AVA in its Department of Architecture. Specifically, NOVA AVA is used in the BIM module of the master’s program in architecture.

The msa_muenster School of Architecture / Münster University of Applied Sciences uses NOVA in its Department of Construction Management/Project Management to support digital construction and planning processes.

At the Rottenburg University of Forestry, Nova AVA is used in the “Resource-Efficient Construction” program to prepare a BOQ for a tender and to generate a model-based cost estimate from a BIM model.

The Institute for Construction Economics at the University of Stuttgart uses NOVA AVA in its undergraduate and graduate courses in architecture and urban planning, for example, as part of the seminar “Bidding, Contracting, and Billing.”
