In the reverse auction, bidders can gradually lower their bids and thus improve them. You decide in advance when and for how long the auction will run. Optionally, you can set bid increments, i.e. minimum amounts by which a bid must be reduced. The individual starting bid for each participant is taken directly from the result of the tender, i.e. from the bidder’s respective bid value in the award procedure. Alternatively, you can set an adjusted starting bid with which the auction begins. In addition, legal or informative documents can be assigned to the auction and made available to the participants.
In the NOVA AVA auction cockpit, participants always have an overview of their own rank in the current auction. If necessary, they can react and improve their all-inclusive price bids for the tender. The view of competitors’ bids is of course protected. To prevent typing errors when submitting bids, a confirmation message is displayed for each bid as a precaution. As in all other areas of NOVA AVA, the user – in this case the bidder – does not need any software to take part in the auction. An Internet connection is all that is required.
During the auction, you as the auction organizer can track which bids are received in the live log and whether they meet your specifications for the bidding steps. The ranking list of participants is updated automatically and immediately when a valid bid is received.
You can save the progress of the auction at any time in an external file (e.g. for Excel) in an audit-proof manner. Once the auction has ended, the results are available directly in the price comparison list of the tender. There you also have the option of applying the respective lump sum bids to the services for a unit price contract.
