BIM World 2026 – NOVA AVA presents NEO, the construction cost AI. Also making its debut: the HOAI module! New BIM viewer, enhanced scheduling
Mühltal, October 29, 2026 – At the BIM World 2026 trade show, NOVA BUILDING IT GmbH is presenting comprehensive AI integration for its cloud solution, NOVA AVA. NEO, the AI specialized in construction cost management, is fully integrated into the software and is now available as a beta version. The company is also presenting a completely new HOAI module and new features for the BIM workflow.
NEO: The AI Assistant for Construction Cost Management in NOVA AVA at BIM World 2026
NEO specializes in construction costs and AVA processes and runs directly within the NOVA AVA cloud software. Users work in their familiar environment without having to switch programs and assign complete tasks to NEO, which the assistant completes in no time. Final decisions always remain with the users. The AI service is developed and hosted by NOVA BUILDING IT in Germany. Project data and knowledge remain entirely within the company’s own system and are not shared with external providers.
Interested parties can attend regular live demos at booth 22 to see for themselves which tasks NEO can already handle, for example:
- How AI generates a complete Bill of Quantities—including preliminary remarks, line items, quantities, and prices—from an unstructured cost estimate
- how NEO uses the quantities and services from the specifications to generate tasks, dependencies, and milestones for a reliable construction schedule
- How BOQ specifications are automatically checked for compliance with VOB/A, VOB/B, and VOB/C
- How NEO creates defect tickets from construction site photos—including an entry in the construction log and a link to the BOQ items
BIM World 2026 – NOVA Showcases New BIM Technology for the 3D Viewer
A new technological foundation for the BIM Viewer now enables significantly faster IFC data import and many new features for working with IFC 3D models. These include, among other things, 2D navigation, the ability to save model views, faster model comparison, filters, and BFC ticket organization.

Premiere at BIM World 2026: Making its debut in NOVA AVA—the HOAI module
With the new HOAI module, architects and engineers can prepare their fee proposals in accordance with HOAI, bill for the project, and determine whether the project is financially viable. Everything is handled within the same project, which also includes costs, Bill of Quantities, and contract awards.
