Cost forecast improved (and more in update 4.6.25)

5. June 2025

Cost forecast based alternatively on cost planning or cost estimate. Color legend printout possible. Cost analysis with users and labels.

Now optionally cost planning or LV cost estimate as the basis for cost forecasting

With a new switch, the LV total (cost estimate) can be defined as the basis for the cost forecast. This also applies if the cost estimate is lower than the cost planning. In other words: a lower cost estimate can override the cost framework or cost calculation in the forecast.

Previously, the higher value from the cost planning or cost estimate was always used.

The new switch can be found in the LV properties under “Prioritize LV total in the cost analysis for the forecast”

Cost analysis – display of both catalogs

The two simultaneously possible catalogs (cost structures) of the cost analysis are now displayed

  • in the overview of all cost analyses,
  • in every open cost analysis.

Uniform project color legend now also in the printout

The project-uniform color legend for all tables (see information on update 1.6.25) can now also be printed (new print option). In the printout, the legend appears in the footer of the table.

Note: Longer legends (texts) are tricky to program. They must be wrapped. This can also inevitably happen between the color symbol and the text.

Cost analysis now also with properties such as user and label

Properties and properties dialog of the cost analysis have been harmonized with other properties dialogs.

Cost analyses can now be assigned to users, for example. The cost analysis can also be given labels. These labels can now also be searched for.
