Update August 2025

18. August 2025

Updates on tender text additions, BOQ creation, cost planning, price comparison lists, projects, scheduling, cost analysis.

The following overview is also available as a PDF document.

The new function for tender text additions

From now on, “fillable fields” can also be stored in free long texts.
We use the GAEB-compliant field for tender text supplements for this purpose.

The tender text additions function is particularly practical for working with master Bill of Quantities.
Instead of managing a large number of write-protected BOQ items for different specifications, a single BOQ item is now sufficient.

The tender text supplement is stored in this master BOQ item and can then be easily filled in by the tenderer in the project BOQ.

Further innovations

LV creation

  • We have now implemented an additional safety feature for editing long texts such as preliminary remarks. The auto-save function. Texts are now automatically saved in the database every 30 seconds or after 100 characters have been entered.
  • We have also improved the scrolling behavior for very long texts in the BOQ table. This makes scrolling through the Bill of Quantities smarter.
  • The layout of the Excel BOQ import dialog has been adjusted, all columns for selecting the respective row types are now always displayed in full.

Cost planning

  • When transferring cost planning data to a BOQ, numerical text additions to STLB-Bau items were not displayed correctly. Has been corrected.
  • In the sorted PDF output of a cost plan, prices were sometimes not output in the correct number format. We have corrected this.

Price comparison list

  • A new icon in the header now also shows in the price comparison list whether the bidder has submitted any documents of their own as part of the bid.
  • The output of the price comparison list for items with “Free quantity” has been improved.

Projects

Pasting images via the clipboard into the project description (of the project properties) did not always work as desired. This has been corrected.

Scheduling

In schedules, an empty task line is provided in the task list for simple and keyboard-controlled entry. This empty task line is now no longer included in the output (PDF/Excel/ProjectXML).

Cost analysis

  • Under certain circumstances, the creation of model-based cost analyses resulted in an error message. This is no longer the case.
  • Cost analyses based on two catalogs/groupings could result in long data loading times. Now it’s fast.
