BIM – From the IFC model to cost planning to the BOQ

In this BIM webinar, you will open an already imported IFC model (we will provide you with this example model) and first get to know the possibilities in the 3D viewer (component, filters, tickets and BCF, viewer tools).

You then create a cost plan based on this model and sample this cost plan/cost estimate. In particular, you will learn how to add items from different text storage systems to the components, save these assignments as cost elements and automatically synchronize components of the same type.

You will then learn how to edit different, new versions of a 3D model so that the samples you have already created are not lost.

Finally, from this cost planning you will first generate a cost estimate according to DIN (according to service phases LP2 to LP5 according to HOAI) and then the Bill of Quantities structured by trade (according to service phase LP6 according to HOAI).

In the last part of the webinar, you will learn how you can access a 3D model directly in (any) Bill of Quantities and transfer the quantities for the items individually – or fully automatically with the 3D Quantity Connector.
