Online webinars – this is the content
Online webinar: From the dashboard to cost planning to the Bill of Quantities:
In this webinar, you start on the dashboard and first get an overview: Where can I configure my dashboard, my profile, how do I open certain program areas, etc.?
You will then learn how to create and manage projects/Bills of Quantities/documents.
You will then create a cost plan/cost estimate in a project (e.g. according to DIN 276), learn how to fill in this cost estimate according to the service phases LP2 to LP5 according to HOAI and find out how you can generate one or more Bill of Quantities from this cost estimate. You will also learn how to create your own (e.g. company-internal) catalogs/cost groups and how to define key data and project variables.
We will then show you how you can quickly create a cost estimate using reference/comparison projects.
Another topic in this webinar is the GAEB regulations: What formats and what exchange phases do these regulations offer and what do you need to pay attention to when using the GAEB standards.
Online webinar: BIM – From IFC model to cost planning to BOQ
In this BIM webinar you will open an already imported IFC model and first get to know the possibilities in the 3D viewer (component, filter, tickets and BCF, viewer tools), then you will create a cost planning based on this model and sample this cost planning/cost estimate. In particular, you will learn how to add items from different text storage systems to the components, how to save these assignments as cost elements and how to automatically synchronize components of the same type.
You will then learn how to edit different, new versions of a 3D model so that the samples you have already created are not lost.
Finally, from this cost planning you will first generate a cost estimate according to DIN (according to service phases LP2 to LP5 according to HOAI) and then the Bill of Quantities structured by trade (according to service phase LP6 according to HOAI).
In the last part of the webinar, you will learn how you can access a 3D model directly in (any) Bill of Quantities and transfer the quantities for the items individually – or fully automatically with the 3D Quantity Connector.
Online webinar: Creating and editing Bill of Quantities
In this webinar, you will create a new empty Bill of Quantities and fill this Bill of Quantities with content in accordance with service phase LP6 according to HOAI).
You will learn about the various forms of description (standard items, preliminary remarks, notes, etc.) and text storage systems (Smart Pool, STLB-Bau, Heinze, etc.) as well as how to copy items from existing (master) specifications.
You then get an overview of the element properties: Where can you set the VAT rate, what options are available for long text editing, how can you change the attributes (contingent, basic, alternative items, etc.), etc.
You will then be introduced to the additional functions in the Extras menu.
Another topic will be price maintenance: How can you update BOQ estimated prices via the price list.
Towards the end of the webinar, you will renumber the BOQ, check for formal errors and output the BOQ as a PDF or GAEB file and learn about the respective output options.
You will also learn about the GAEB regulations in this webinar: Which formats and which exchange phases these regulations offer and what you need to pay attention to when using the GAEB standards.
You will conclude the webinar with the print designer and learn how to edit the cover page, header and footer.
Online webinar: Request for quotations, price comparison list and awarding contracts
This webinar is of interest to all those who, in accordance with LP7 according to HOAI (participation in the awarding of contracts), obtain offers for Bill of Quantities, evaluate them and prepare the contract BOQ.
You will start with an overview and learn what options are available for obtaining tenders. You will also get to know the GAEB regulations and exchange phases in the awarding process.
You will then invite bidders to submit bids directly via the NOVA internal tender interface (including tender documents, questionnaire, configuration options).
After inviting the bidders, you take a look at how the bidders submit their bids.
In the next part, you will first learn how to add further bidders to the price comparison list manually or via GAEB import.
You will then evaluate the bids (variant calculation, outliers, ABC method). In the last part of the webinar, you will create and output the order BOQ.
Online webinar: Measurement, invoicing, supplements, cost analysis
A webinar for all those who work on construction accounting in NOVA in accordance with the service phases LP8 and LP9 according to HOAI (object supervision – construction supervision and documentation, object support).
You start with a commissioned Bill of Quantities and first add the order conditions (retentions, order number, exemption certificate, etc.).
Then it’s on to measurement processing: here you will learn about the options for manual measurement recording and what you need to know/observe, how you can import measurements, how you can have the contractor carry out the measurement recording and release these measurements and how the NOVA measurement app works.
Once the measurements have been processed, the next step is invoicing. Here you first look at the target/actual comparison, recognize quantity overruns and receive an overview of the expected quantity and cost development.
You will then find out which invoice types are available and how you can create, modify, issue and release them.
We then move on to addendum management. We will show you how to create, edit and manage supplements.
You will conclude this webinar with the cost analysis. The cost analysis shows you the cost overview from cost planning to the current performance status, including a forecast and a self-defined evaluation.
