Mühltal, 11.3.2026 – At the digitalBAU 2026 trade fair in Cologne, NOVA BUILDING IT GmbH will be presenting its digital solutions for construction cost and project management, which are geared towards the practical requirements of users.
The company is focusing on two main areas: New functions for service phase 8 – NOVA AVA now fully integrates construction documentation, defect management and invoicing. In addition, the company is offering a sneak preview of the new “NOVA AI Hub” and is already seeking direct exchange with users in the alpha phase.
Tickets, defects and billing integrated in one system for the first time
NOVA AVA meets the challenges of the complex service phase 8 with a fully integrated platform that reduces complexity effectively and practically.
In LPH 8, construction documentation, task and defect management, meeting organization and invoicing must be seamlessly integrated. The heart of the new features in NOVA AVA is therefore ticket and defect management. The tickets are seamlessly integrated into the AVA platform – a decisive advantage for users. This is because they can be linked directly to items in the Bill of Quantities and are visible as open items in construction invoicing. This prevents unauthorized billing of defects.
Tickets can be created from all relevant areas of construction supervision: directly in central ticket management, within meetings or from the construction diary. At digitalBAU, the team will be demonstrating how this integration makes everyday life easier for users, as every recorded task automatically ends up where it is needed – on a platform without media discontinuity.
Central ticket management is now supplemented by integrated meeting and minutes management. Regular meetings can be defined, including the group of participants and meeting rhythm, and ongoing agendas and minutes are generated from them. Ticket management is also seamlessly integrated here. Responsibilities, deadlines and open issues flow together in real time.
NOVA AI Hub: Agile development in dialog with users
The second central topic at the NOVA stand is the platform’s new AI service. For the first time, NOVA AVA is presenting a comprehensive AI integration for its software, which should be ready for the market in the coming months. At the trade fair, interested parties can get a first impression of the solution and also enter into a direct dialog with the developers. In this way, feedback from practitioners will flow directly into the further development of the AI service.
The NOVA AI Hub goes beyond individual AI functions: it is a fully integrated AI service developed and hosted by NOVA BUILDING IT in Germany. It is independent of large AI providers; project data and knowledge therefore remain entirely within the company’s own system and do not flow to external providers.
The first AI functions have already been implemented within the company in the alpha version. This functionality is divided into three pillars:
- Information procurement (overview of projects, organizational tasks),
- Assistance with text creation and checking (copywriting, plausibility check of texts and prices) and
- Active assistance (creation of new projects via voice dialog with the AI).
